This 3,000 sf clinic features a rustic, country-style exterior design that includes a cultured stone veneer accent. The entry and waiting areas support ceramic tile and open beam ceilings. Veterinary clinics pose special challenges. Each area has its own requirements for ventilation, plumbing, and electrical. For example, in a similar sized office building there would be only one heating and air conditioning system. To prevent odors from the kennels from circulating into other areas, this facility has three separate systems. Schlecht also provided value engineering for this project to help reduce overall costs and to keep the project within the owners budget.

This 26,600 square foot retail facility for Parr Lumber included two structures. A 17,700 sf retail/warehouse building and a 9,600 sf storage building. The retail/warehouse building features concrete tilt-up construction and steel roof joists and decking. The retail portion of the structure is wood frame construction with lap siding, brick veneer, colored concrete floors, accent columns, and an exterior promenade. The storage building utilized pre-engineered steel technology. Schlecht helped to provide the design/build mechanical, electrical and plumbing for this project.
